July 4th - My Birthday

We all went to Jordanelle to enjoy the day boating and playing in the lake. It was a great way to spend my birthday. When we were done at the lake we head to Delora's house to B-que dinner and have birthday cake and fireworks. I love my family.

Rachael's Visit

Rachael came and stayed two weeks with us. She wanted to learn to cook and sew. I took her house cleaning with me and paid her $5 per house to help. She was excited to earn some money. She had a good time spending the money. Here are some pictures of Rachael.

Madalyn's Dress

Here is Madalyn in her pretty new dress. She was baptized on Sat. June 13, 2009. The dress was made by her Grandmother (me). After she was done, we all went back to her house and had some food and visited with each other. It was a great day.

City of Rocks

Today, I took Tanya and her kids out to the City of Rocks. It was a cloudy overcast day. The City of Rocks is about 1 hour south of where I live. It is an area where rocks were formed billions of years ago. People come from all over to see them and many come to climb the rock faces. We just climbed the little rocks and hiked around them. We had lunch there.

Happy Birthday Porter

Last weekend Jim and I were down in Utah so I took Porter out shopping for his birthday present. He picked out this gun and I let him choose a new short outfit. He was one happy boy. He turned seven years old. Love, Grandma

Mothers Day

Daniel and Jamie gave me these flowers and box of chocolates for Mothers Day. Delora sent a new set of pans. Adam and Jared came for a visit and gave me a camping chair. I received beautiful cards from all the children. It has been a very good day.
I am bless to have wonderful children.

Skiing in April

Can you believe the snow? Delora's children were on spring break this past week and they came to visit. Since there was so much snow and our ski resort was open we took them skiing. It was a nice warm day. This is the bunny hill. There was only about 6 people on it. They girls had a great time. Kade loved to ride the magic carpet up and run down the hill.

Grandma's Stove

This is Jim's Grandma's stove. It is a wood burning stove. He remembers her cooking on it when he was a little boy. She made the best pancakes on it. She always had a pot of coffee on it. For a while his brother Jack had to stove, then the stove when to his sister Willa. At Willa's house it sat in the garage. Jim went to California at the beginning of the month and brought it home. Now the stove will sit in our kitchen.

Wireless Internet!

Today is a big day. We were able to get wireless internet. It is great. I have had to change my e-mail address, but it is worth it. My new main e-amil address is adriannaboyer@yahoo.com. I also have a gmail address.

Time to catch up!

I have not added anything for a while. In February I took the computer into get it fixed. It was running very slow. They cleaned it up and it runs faster. Then Jim and I decided to get wireless Internet. First we had PMT, the internet service we use come out. They could not get a signal to any of their 3 towers. We live 7 miles from on tower and 6 1/2 miles from the other. Next, I had Safelink come out. They have 3 towers and could not get a signal from any on them. Tress were in the way. I can not ask my neighbors to cut down their trees. Slow dial-up interned is to slow.

Season Tickets

I have a very good friend who gave me Season Tickets to the Howell Opera house in Oakley. The Howell Opera house does four live plays a year. We are going to see "Oliver", "Paint Your Wagon", "1940 Radio Hour" and a "Christmas Concert". I have always wanted to go and see a play, but never had anyone to go with. Katheryn gave tickets to 2 other friends and one for her. So, there will be four of us going. I can't wait to go and have a good time.

Neck Animals

Tanya wanted me to make her children neck animal pillows. She thought it would be an easy thing to do. It was a pain in the behind. There are a lot of pieces and it took a lot of time. But, I finally got them done. This past week end Jim and I went down to Utah and I gave them to the children. They loved them.

New Background

I found this picture of tractors. Jim like tractors. He has some that his Dad brought new in about 1940. He has older ones also.

Australia

This afternoon I took my Mother and we went to the movies. We saw Australia. It was long and good. I would recommend it to everyone. I would change my background but the site is down.

Children ski's

One of my cleaning customer had two small pairs of kids skis and three pair of boots. I am trading her three cleaning for them. I had a problem with only having two pairs of skis. I have 4 grand kids who like to ski. So, I have been on KSL classified advertisement looking for used skis. Tonight I found a place in Sandy that had kids skis, so I sent Tanya and Randy up to get two more pairs. Now there is enough for Porter, Madalyn, Reese and Rachael to ski. Now Tanya will have to take them.

Reese Edmund Bishop's Day

Resse before his baptism all dressed in white. Madalyn gave a very good talk on baptism. Tanya gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. Resse's Grandmothers gave the prayers and the Grandfathers were the witnesses. Reese was baptised and confirmed by his father.

Happy New Year

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. May all your goals and dreams come true this year. At our house we are so blessed each day. After you go though what Jim has this past year and half, you rethink everything. We are grateful that he is going good and there is no sign of the cancer. I am thankful for my 7 wonderful children and their families.
